SACRAMENTO, CA (STL. News) Governor Gavin Newsom declared the following appointments:
Christine V. Siador, 56, of Dublin, was named Assistant Director in the California Department of Public Health. Siador was Acting Director of this Population Health Division in the San Francisco Department of Public Health because 2020, in which she served as Deputy Director from 2012 to 2020. She had been Deputy Director in the University of California, Berkeley Center for Infectious Diseases and Emergency Readiness from 2004 to 2012. Siador had been Chief Executive Officer in Social Light Consulting Group from 1996 to 2004. She had been Program Manager in the University of California, Davis Medical Center from 1994 to 1996. Siador was an Evaluation Consultant in the Western Consortium to get Public Health from 1993 to 1994 and Regional Coordinator in the Public Health Institute from 1992 to 1993. Siador had been Program Manager in the Asian & Pacific Islander Health Forum from 1989 to 1992. She is a part of this San Francisco Human Rights Commission Citywide Racial Equity Group. Siador got a Master of Public Health level in biomedical science/infectious disease in the University of California, Berkeley. This position doesn’t demand Senate confirmation and the compensation is $189,996.
